Superior Electrics Limited has been manufacturing quality electrical appliances in Pembroke, Ontario for
over seventy-five years.

Over the years we have manufactured various small appliances ranging from electric kettles, coffee makers,
irons, toasters and hotplates to heaters, humidifiers, range hoods, oscillating fans and air cleaners. We have
manufactured products as small as car warmers to items as large as full size kitchen ranges. We have
exported to the USA, South America, the Caribbean, South Africa, the Middle East, the UK and Europe. We
design and engineer all of our own products, many of which have won awards. As well we have produced
products on behalf of many internationally known companies.

Superior's production facilities have evolved from the original traditional three storey red brick building in
downtown Pembroke, to the modern 70,000 square foot single storey building that we now occupy. The
company has considerable depth and capability in the manufacture of steel, stainless steel and plastic
cooking, heating and ventilating appliances. We have our own tool making facility, as well as a modern
fabrication department with large and small presses for blanking, forming, drawing and welding steel
products. We have automatic buffing, woodgraining and painting facilities for finishing the products and
state-of-the-art plastic injection moulding facilities. Finally, we have modern assembly lines for completing,
testing and packaging products. We take special pride in our quality assurance procedures, operate under
both CSA and UL certification, and have also built products to BEAB and GS standards.
